This axe was forged the old way: the eye punched through hot steel and drifted to shape rather than welded or cast. The 4140 head takes a tough, lasting edge, and the hickory haft is hung tight and wrapped at the eye for grip and protection. It found its owner quickly — but I take a limited number of axe commissions each season.
For bushcraft, camp, and collectors of traditional tools. Commission yours with custom head weight, haft length, and finish.
